Running out of groceries is a very common thing, at least here in India but the thing is no one gives a damn about it. No one thought of how they can fix this problem. But Shweta Gupta thought of doing something for it and now she’s here. She stated that,

I lived in pg with one roommate there I cooked food for myself so most of the time we don’t have groceries to prepare food and at 8 o’ clock door also closed in PG. So one day I decided to make a platform where the user can get immediate grocery at their doorstep. When we are purchasing from retailer shop then we are getting in a very high price as compared to farmer’s grocery price. So I developed an app named Dailyebazaar that finishes the margin gap and instantly we can get products.

How did it all start? How did you get the idea for this?

After completing b.tech I started a job at Hyderabad as an android developer. During the job, I don’t have time to think about myself. It was my first job ever. I start my day at 7’o’clock and came back home at 9:30’ o’clock. I was living in a hostel, so food also finished the time we reached there. I was fresher so my salary is also not much so not able to had food outside also daily so with the hungry stomach I slept most of the time. After a year my health goes down so that my parents called me at home. I started a job as an Android application developer at Jaipur in a startup company.

In a startup company, I have inspired by the company owner named Rajiv Krishna Sharma. He always encourages us for being an entrepreneur. I learned from that company only how to run own startup there only I get knowledge about funding, startup. How is your venture helpful for People?

I developed a platform for people which is very easy to use and very helpful to them because grocery is the basic need of every people. Everyone needs quality natural products at the lowest price and we are providing groceries direct from farmers so that it will be cheaper and natural. Our aim is to provide the best quality or natural things to users so that they can be fit and hit.

Tell us about the miserable time you faced and how you overcome.

When I came up with the idea and we instantly Start work on that but after uploading app on play store the most important thing is how to do marketing for it. How it will be reaching for people!? Because I was doing job 10-6, so there is no time left to focus on this.

I remember those days when I launched the app then I got orders every day without any single marketing and there is no process I have made that time for marketing for delivery and all so for every order I used to go with my friend to deliver their products. One day I hooked up and decided to make that process and hire people then after some time everything became normal.

Your startup works in the field of providing groceries to houses in a convenient way. How do you make sure that your service reaches the maximum number of people?

Yes, we are providing groceries to houses in a convenient way. We had a team for marketing and they are doing their work in a good manner. We are doing social marketing to reach the maximum number of people.


What makes you different from other ventures of this kind and how do you make people trust your services?

At this time, Grofers and big basket are there and their concept is totally different with us. We are providing same day instant delivery tour users and providing direct from farmers so we can assure our users that we will provide the best quality and natural.

What advice would you like to give to the aspiring entrepreneurs?

You need to enjoy what you do. If you view your venture as something solely for the purpose of amassing wealth, it’ll be more difficult to truly enjoy. Make your own future! Create and be part of something that is bigger than yourself. Nobody is going to give it to you; you have to work for your dreams.
